This dish is perfect for when you need to clear out your fridge. Throw any vegetables you have, along with some potatoes and chicken drumsticks and your favourite seasoning, and voila! A no-fuss, healthy and hearty meal.

What you need: 

  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion, diced into chunks, 
  • 300g of frozen peas
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp of seasoning of choice
  • 500mls of Sadie’s Kitchen Comforting Chicken Bone Broth
  • Water

How to prepare: 

  1. Pop all the the ingredients into a large heavy set casserole dish
  2. Add in water until all the potatoes are covered
  3. Bring the the boil, then pop the lid on top and reduce to a simmer for 35 minutes
  4. Heat the oven to 220C
  5. Remove the lid and place the dish in the oven until the chicken browns
