The Galway Christmas Markets (November 15th – December 22nd)

Ireland’s longest-running Christmas market spans across Galway City from Eyre Square to Spanish Arch, with over 50 stalls buckling under a fine, festive selection of food and drink, as well as plenty to do including live music, puppet shows, carol singing, a traditional carousel and more. Be sure to visit the German beer tent in Eyre Square for Bavarian brews, salty pretzels, sauerkraut – it’s really popular so be prepared to queue.
Winterval Waterford (November 23rd – December 23rd)

Dublin Christmas Market (December 12th – December 22nd)

A new Christmas market will take place on the grounds of Dublin Castle this year. With over 30 traditional alpine markets from artisan producers will be present at the event, dubbed ‘Christmas at the Castle’, selling decorative crafts, Christmas gifts and foods, as well as carols and a Santa experience for the little ones, there’ll be something for you and the whole family to enjoy.
Belfast Christmas Market (November 16th to December 22nd)

For over eleven years, Belfast’s City Hall has been transformed into a picturesque German-style Christmas market, packed to the brim with 90 masterfully handcrafted wooden chalets and an array of delicious foods – think crepes from France, Belgian chocolates, and should it take your fancy, German bratwurst.
Glow Cork (November 29th – December 22nd)

Cork City’s Grand Parade and Bishop Lucey Park house the Cork Christmas market 2019. If you’re planning a visit, expect delicious artisan food, vintage carousel rides, choral performances, mulled wine and plenty of festive entertainment. An absolute must is a trip up the 30-meter Ferris Wheel for breathtaking views of the markets and city below.
The Wicklow Christmas Market (November 23rd – December 15th)

Held in the Abbey Grounds in Wicklow town, the market brings the usual selection of wreaths, crafts and tempting food. But the best thing about it is the alpaca experience. Yes, actual alpacas. Everyone will love them.
